Opening Ceremony of Plaza Shell (former known as Menara Hap Seng), in Kota Kinabalu

Under a design-build contract, this project, including four levels of underground parking, a three-level podium and ten storeys of offices, has been delivered in Kota Kinabalu (Borneo), Malaysia on the 13th of November.

The 70,000-sqm tower nowadays accommodates several restaurants, a bank (AmBank), Honda offices and showroom, Hap Seng Star – Mercedes-Benz offices and showroom, Hap Seng Properties showroom, Hap Seng Crédit offices and all Hap Seng local subsidiaries offices.

Plaza Shell is the first building to be conferred the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certificate, making it the first green building in the State of Sabah.

Others Malaysian projects in progress: Jesselton Residences Project in Kota Kinabalu with delivery slated for July 2016 and Berjaya Central Park building complex in Kuala Lumpur in peninsular Malaysia where the first of the twin towers has been delivered in June 2015.
